• March 18, 2014: Annual welcome and organizational meeting. All welcome. No speaker.
• April 15, 2014: Local artists Stacey Frasier Darling and Bruce Frasier will share their artwork and their very different techniques.
• May 20, 2014: Local author Mary Shartle will speak about her new book, “The Truth and Legend of Lily Martindale: An Adirondack Novel”.
• June 17, 2014: Come hear Edinburg’s future historians — featuring Edinburg 4th grade students and their teacher. The Nellie Tyrrell Award will be presented at this meeting to the 4th grade student showing the most interest in the study of history. [This was changed to a presentation by Maria Spaeth on the information the students received about local history; the presentation of the award was rescheduled for September.]
  
• July 15, 2014: Town of Providence Historian and cemetery preservationist, Edward Dandaraw will share his journey of discovery of the over 30 cemeteries throughout the town of Providence.
• August 19, 2014: “House Stories” — a presentation by members of the EHS on the stories of their own homes
• September 16, 2014: This is an important business meeting with the election of new officers and trustees. We will also hear more about the 2014 Nellie Tyrrell award winners, Ethan Moore and Kailyn Ginter, as they and their classmates talk about local history.
• October 21, 2014: Folk singer, Dan Berggren, will share his music and his local inspiration for his outstanding compositions
