The Edinburg Historical Society has a new Facebook page created and maintained by Linda Ege. Check it out in the future for the latest events for the society.

The Facebook page also offers an online gift shop. Through the Facebook page, you can now purchase items from from our gift shop online plus a $5 shipping fee. A Taste of Edinburg cookbook, $10; two DVDs Saving the Dream featuring John Bennis photos documenting Edinburg’s history with music by Robin Gaiser and the Mill Run Dulcimer Band and narrated by the Edinburg Town Clerk, Denise Ferguson, $15; Harnessing Nature: Building the Great Sacandaga made by the Sacandaga Lake Advisory Council with the help of the HR/BR Regulating District, public historians, county historians and people in the community, $20.

October 17, 2020: Bake Sale at Rural Museum

The Edinburg Historical Society will be holding a Bake Sale on October 17, 2020 a the Rural Museum from 9am to 12pm. Please stop by to get some tasty bakes goods and support your local historical community.

Shares are also available in the Copeland Covered Bridge in honor of someone’s birthday, anniversary, or special event or in memory of a loved one. The shares are $25 and can be purchased by sending your check and information to the Edinburg Historical Society, PO Box 801, Edinburg, NY 12134. The Recipient’s name is posted at the Copeland Site and they receive a certificate informing them of your contribution. The certificate can also be sent to you to be presented to them during the holidays or special celebration.
