September 28, 2019: Edinburg Fall Festival

Come join us for the Edinburg Fall Festival on Saturday, September 28th. The Rural Museum will serve as the location for free horse and wagon rides by J & D Percherons from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be face painting by Jessie Vonberg. A variety of delicious homemade soups, potato and macaroni salads, toasted cheese sandwiches, chili, coffee, hot tea, juice and water will be available. Maple sugar samples will be provided with a variety of maple sugar products for purchase from the Edward’s Maple Hill Sugar Farm.

A bake sale with pies, cookies, breads and all kinds of treats will be available. If you love to bake you can bring your contribution of baked goods to the Rural Museum between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. on September 28th.

Jessie Jensen sings and plays the dulcimer and guitar and will entertain us at 10:00 a.m. Jesse has a master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Vocal Music Education and teaches music, drama and art at the Edinburg Common School. She and her husband Darby are lifelong residents. At 1:00 p.m. Edinburg resident Ony Antonucci will perform some songs from her new CD “Heart of Dreams.” Ony studied at Queens College and UCLA and has performed with groups in Europe and the USA. EHS member George McCleery will play old favorites on the pump organ.
