VOLUNTEER WITH TOOL BELT NEEDED

The Edinburg Historical Society would like a volunteer to build a Take a Book – or -Leave
a Book, better known as a Book Nook. All materials would be provided by EHS. Please
contact Claudette Koza at 518 863-4844 if you can help or have questions. The Book
Nook will be built at the Rural Museum and available to everyone.

Mark your calendar for our next Salad and Bake Sale which will be held on Saturday, May 29th from 9 am to noon. If you wish to contribute baked goods drop your contribution off at the Rural Museum prior to the start of the sale.

The Edinburg Historical Society volunteers spent a Saturday morning removing the desks and chairs, bookcases, piano and teacher’s desk so the floor could be scrubbed clean in preparation for the floor refinishing at the Sand Hill One-Room Schoolhouse on Tange Road. Once the floor has been finished another workday will be scheduled to clean the school furniture and replace everything back in the schoolroom. Volunteers were: EHS President George and Andrea Blackwood; Naydene Carmody; Town Historian Priscilla Edwards; Linda and Richie Ege; André Garand;  Betsey Bartlette, Valerie Kay; Claudette Koza.
